Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian model and actress. The actress gained fame in Australia for her role as Pepper Steiger which she played in the soap show Neighbors during a hundred episodes broadcast between 2006 and 2007. In Hollywood it was her first time on two different projects. It was first Hollywood & Wine on which she played an actress who was struggling. Then by landing a recurring role in the ninth season of Scrubs which portrayed Maya an extremely sexy medical student. The show, however, is abruptly ended. Then, she went on to shoot an episode of the Farrelly brothers ' comedy titled Good To Shoot featuring the Jason Sudeiki and Owen Wilson tandem. Thereafter she appeared on small-scale series and B series films. The year 2013 saw her debut, she had the opportunity to work on larger projects. In 2013, she appeared in six episodes on the show about detectives, Franklin and Bash, and after that, she landed her first role as a regular character in the web-based series Chosen, starring Milo Ventimiglia. In the two first seasons she provides an answer for Chad Michael Murray. The following year she was featured as a supporting character in two fantastic feature films set inside airplanes: one was a television film to be screened on SyFy channel Flight 7500: One Way Back.
