Kelly Clarkson was an American singer/songwriter that became America's Sweetheart once she took home American Idol in the first series of the series. This victory not only made her known to the world, but earned her a deal for several albums from RCA Records 19 Recordings as along with 'S Recordings. Since then she has released several studio albums, three that reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart as the others narrowly failed to make the cut. She's among the most popular performers to emerge of American Idol. After achieving success, she experimented with different musical styles and themes often co-writing her songs in accordance with her feelings. Her uniqueness and vocal abilities earned her critical praise along with a handful of important distinctions. Most notable was that she received the Grammy Award three times. She also has been featured in television and films. She also co-wrote the book for children called River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has also been involved in a variety of charitable organisations.
