Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny February 3 1950) is an American actress. The actress became popular in the 1970s-80s for her role as an actress in television shows. Her beautiful appearance was the most prominent feature of these shows. Fairchild's career began in 1973, playing Jennifer Pace on the CBS soap opera Search for Tomorrow. In 1978 she appeared in the soap opera of the same name Dallas as the first actress to play Jenna Wade before taking a part in the lead role of the NBC show Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Television Series Drama). She also was a co-star in ABC's short-lived primetime soap Paper Dolls before appearing in Falcon Crest as attorney Jordan Roberts between 1985 and the year 1986. Fairchild has also performed in the theater, and has appeared in guest roles in a variety of television shows, including Murphy Brown (for which she received a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in an Comedy Series) Roseanne Cybill as well as Friends. She sits on the board of SAG-AFTRA. Lawson was born in Louisville, Kentucky by her mother who is a homemaker and father who is a manager in hotels. She has always been attracted to acting.
