Emily Bett Rickards was born in July of 1991. She is a Canadian actress best known for her role for her role as Felicity in The CW's TV show Arrow. Rickards is a British Columbia native. From a young age, she started to pursue her passion for acting by performing in musical theater. The actress completed the Acting Essentials Program at the Vancouver Film School after graduating from high school. After the course was completed and attending an audition for open calls and was able to get her an agent. Alida Vocal Studio was her school of choice in Vancouver. Her rapport with Stephen Amell, positive feedback from fans and the sarcastic comments she made led to being initially signed for one episode as a Guest Star.
